In the context of the PARENIS project, the first Innovation Lab was organized by ENSA de Marakkech (Ecole Nationale des Sciences Appliquées). This lab has taken place from May 14th to 15th in 2012 in Marrakesh, Morocco. Academics and managers were invited to a workhop in order to define joint areas of research and innovation.
This meeting aimed to introduce the experience feedback structures for transferring results of research projects with partner universities: Moroccan and European. As well as to discuss the visions, governance and missions such a platform for innovation and to create an innovation lab pilot under the TEMPUS project in the theme of logistics within institutions Moroccan caines project partners. On the first conference day, inter alia, Regina Grussenmeyer of the Technical University of Hamburg presented the TEMPUS project PARENIS as project coordinator. Further presentations followed on the topics: best practices for university Entreprise Cooperation in Research and Innovation, National Research and Innovation Policy as well as City of Innovation. The results of the first innovation lab were summarized by ENIT (Ecole Nationale d’ Ingénieurs de Tunis) and distributed to the steering committee members.
