Bibliometric Analysis of Risk Management in Seaports
Seaports play an essential role in global supply chains. Many companies rely on seaborne transport to deliver goods and supplies to other nodes in their supply chain network. High levels of uncertainty charachterize operations in seaports. Incidents and accidents in such ports may lead to service delays, port closure as well as damage to people, property and the environment. Therefore, risk management in seaports plays an important role in mitigating and preventing possible accidents and disruptions.
The aim is to explore the structure of literature on risk management in seaports by using bibliometric analysis in order to reveal the current main research areas and gaps of risk management in seaports as well as its future trends.
Guidelines for the processing of the task:
Initial literature review on risk management in seaports
Preparing a specific set of articles for the bibliometric analysis
Reviewing and choosing suitable methods for the bibliometric analysis
Revealing the main research areas and gaps in the literature
Suggesting future research areas based on the research focus and gaps
*Optional usage of progamming languages to automate the process if required
