A Conceptual Model for Cooperative Risk Management in Seaports
Seaports play an essential role in global supply chains. Different operations such as transshipment, towing and tugging take place in seaports within a complicated network structure. Incidents and accidents in such ports may lead to service delays, port closure as well as damage to people, property and the environment. Therefore, risk management in seaports plays an important role in mitigating and
preventing possible accidents and disruptions.
The project aims at developing a conceptual model for cooperative risk management in seaports based on interview or survey study.
